I had it get as high as 70% CPU usage just from having terminals open. The cursor bug and CPU resource consumption makes it unusable for day to day usage. I wrote about some of these issues in more detail in the ConEmu vs Hyper article.

It’s a been a long journey but I think I finally found a really really good terminal set up for Windows 10 / WSL based development. You can see a video of how I use that new terminal and more in this video.
